Lol, I also realised that because the next alt I am leveling, will be a healer too, I'm weirder than I thought. I'm leveling a shammy, cos I wanted a different style of healing. I'm so used to keeping HoTs up on people, that something with a cast time will be really weird for me. No more running around like a loony when I'm healing, but I get a cleansing totem and 'Heroism' Wooteth (yes, I'm Alliance...lol)

Thank you kindly - I had such a lot fun filling this out, and as I think I've said before, I am such a complete healing nerd. Reading the responses of others is endlessly fascinating to me.

Healing is definitely something that is somewhat oddly perceived in WoW - I think partially because quite a large percentage of the population simply can't conceive why someone else - as Nich puts it - would want to make the small multiple gree bars go up, as opposed to one big red bar go down.

I know ... with the verbosity ... *flails* ... it just happens.

Why do you think I don't have a Twitter account ;)

Yeah, I think the key to two-healing TotC-10 is blissful ignorance. Because it was the first time I'd been there, I had *no idea* that three healers is generally considered optimal. So I was sailed through happily and heedlessly, not quite understanding what the big deal was or why the raid to this very day hug me in Dalaran whenever they se me ... I've never healed as well in that place since, unfortunately. I think sometimes if you don't expect something to be hard it isn't...

Plesasure - and I look forward to reading your response. Also I was lucky to get in first, seems like the blogsphere is clamouring to hear from you and you've already been tagged multiple times ;)

Hey there and welcome - be careful not to sit on the catcus ;) Thanks for the kind words about the blog, I'm glad you enjoy reading it.

And, yes, I'm exactly the same - until Miss Medicina started this *ahem* non-meme I had no idea quite how serious a healing nerd I was. It wasn't just that I read all the answers but I read them really *carefully* and started *thinking* ... dangerous hobbies ;)

I love Vuhdo too - I always healbot, found it way too clinical, and Grid made me obsessive and fussy so Vuhdo is the perfect compromise. For an "out of the box" healing add-on, I don't think it can be bettered.

Also stand up for your right to be a blood DK if you want to be - the thing is, there are a lot of truly *terrible* blood DKs but the little time I've spent messing around with DKs I've really enjoyed myself. They play so elegantly.

Hurrah - I really look forward to reading your responses. Honestly, if there was ever time to come out of the closet as a healing nerd, this is it :)

Also I basically wanted to tag *everyone* but then I thought I was being way too demanding on my readers so I tagged people I thought I knew well enough to impose on ;)

Nonsense, I'm never happier than when a big burly bear is waggling away in front of me....there's nothing the least bit weird about that.

(Ahaha, don't get me started on the gendered perception of healing and tanking roles - last time I wrote a post on this, there was rioting in the streets)
