whoops

So sorry for the flurry of blog!fail over the past few days. Essentially there were two entirely disconnected incidents – one of which was an error in the database which, when fixed, caused a feedreader explosion of me going “wah, posts are lost” “test post?” “test post?” “test post?” like ET trying to phone home. And then some shit went down which meant I needed some space from the blog (temporarily) – and the quickest way I could think to get it out of the public domain was to bork it but good – albeit in a way that I could readily fix. So, err, sorry about that, and thanks to all for the help. I think all is well again (famous last words).

Anyway, since it’s Saturday and I have done this for a while, here are some awesome linkies:

The excellent Miss Medicina on … *snigger* colander heals. I like the theory but … ye gods … the name?! Healing is not domestic, dammit, it is tough and, err, manly. Like a blood elf….

Also Audron finally FINALLY left his horrible guild. All cheer!

My friend, Jakkru on some of his favourite wipes – which I especially like because I am personally responsible, oh yeah, personally responsible for one of them (Death by Firelfy).

Beru, being awesome as ever, on fun. I kind of think we’ve come to a pretty pass when people are writing blog posts in which they have to defend the rights of people … who play a game … to have a fun.

A general “go forth forth and give love” to Safrocentric, who has recently started blogging. The adventures of her extremely sartorial cow always make wonderful reading. Her latest post, on The Barrens, is particularly lovely. So, yes, if you’re not reading her, what are you waiting for?

Shintar on seasonal events, particularly Love Is In the Air versus the Lunar Festival. I’m linking this because, well, it’s interesting reading obviously, but also because basically I agree with everything she says!

Two other blogs I’ve recently discovered and am enjoying:

I don’t Think the Tree Bends That Way
Stories of WoW

And, finally, oh woez! Two in the one week? Farewell to Jong and Pike, both of whom will be much missed.
